The Strategist
The most unpleasant eventuality becomes no more than a nuisance once The Strategist has prepared for it. With perseverance he will one day turn to find that his journey has been successful.
The first computer Mateusz owned was a 166MHz Pentium. Like most other children, he started off by playing computer games, but soon he got bored with playing them the ordinary way, so he looked in files, searching for a way to change the gameplay, game mechanics, or simply to find cheats. From that point on, he got involved in programming. Starting from QBasic (as the interpreter was included on Win 95 install CD), he began his journey through the world of codes.
In high school things evolved quickly. He learned C and C++, and he developed his programming experience as a contributor in the ReactOS project. He got his first IT job as a network administrator during the last year of high school. He took care of a small (about 150 PCs) commercial network for a local Internet Provider.
During his studies he became more involved with Linux and electronics. Both of these pushed him further into programming embedded Linux devices that controlled miscellaneaous electronic rigs.
He joined Arces in August 2011, since he always wanted to become a System Administrator. In his free time, he plays guitar and experiments with analog and digital electronics.
